Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using revealsam.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About this Site

revealsam.com is operated by Reveal Software Asset Management LLC ("Reveal SAM," "we," "our," or "us"). The Site provides information about our Microsoft licensing advisory services and a means for prospective clients to contact us.

Informational purpose only

Content published on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute licensing advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any other form of professional advice for any specific situation. Microsoft licensing varies significantly based on agreement type, environment, and contractual terms — what applies generally may not apply to your specific case.

Professional advisory services are provided only under a separate, signed engagement agreement. Site content does not create a consulting relationship between you and Reveal SAM, and you should not act on Site content without engaging us or a similarly qualified advisor.

Engagements

When you engage Reveal SAM for advisory or consulting services, the terms of that engagement — including scope, pricing, deliverables, confidentiality, intellectual property, and limitation of liability — are governed by a separate engagement agreement signed by both parties. The engagement agreement, not these website Terms of Service, controls the relationship.

Intellectual property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the structure of the pages, is the property of Reveal SAM or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, share, and reference Site content for personal or non-commercial purposes; you may not reproduce or republish substantial portions of the content without written permission.

Third-party trademarks

"Microsoft," "Microsoft 365," "Azure," "SQL Server," "Windows Server," "Active Directory," and other Microsoft product and service names referenced on this Site are trademarks or registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. References to Microsoft products are for descriptive purposes only. Reveal SAM is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation.

Other third-party names referenced on this Site (including but not limited to VMware, Nutanix, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC) are the property of their respective owners. References are descriptive only and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

No warranty

The Site and its content are provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any Site content for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reveal SAM and its principals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or reliance on Site content. Liability arising from a paid consulting engagement is governed by the relevant engagement agreement.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.

Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
